Dr. Kanwal is an outstanding academic leader with incredible governance experience.  She is a renowned social scientist who ranked among the top 2% of scholars in Pakistan by Stanford's Research Team Report 2023. She has authored over 200 international publications including 97 Research Articles in Web of Science Impact Factor journals, 17 International Book Chapters,and 50 plus in HEC-recognized Journals. Also published in International Conference Proceedings, Scholarly Editorials, Book Reviews, and Newspaper Articles, and servesas a member of the Editorial Advisory Boards of 5 International Journals. She has produced 19 PhDs & 24 MPhils.

Professor Kanwal is an outstanding academic leader who served as the first Vice-Chancellor of the University of Home Economics (UHE).
