Departments of English and Urdu Organised Bilingual Interdepartmental Speech Competition at GCWUF�Faisalabad, November 18, 2025 — The Departments of English and Urdu, GCWUF, organised a Bilingual Interdepartmental Speech Competition on the theme “Iqbal’s Vision and the Ideals of the Youth.” Twelve students participated, presenting speeches in both Urdu an English.�The competition was arranged by Dr. Sadia Waheed and Dr. Tayyaba Nighat jointly and Ms. Bazighah Qandeel, whereas, Dr. Amara Javed were the judges.�Maheen, a student of BS English (5th Semester), secured the first position in the English Speech category. �Participants addressed various interpretations of Allama Iqbal’s ideas regarding youth, and the event concluded in a formal and orderly manner.
