One-day research workshop organized by the Department of Urdu on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Video Conference Room, GC Women University, Faisalabad. The event began with a welcome address by Dr. Sadaf Naqvi, Chairperson of Urdu Department. The research workshop was attended by Dr. Fakhr-ul-Haq Noori, Dean of Languages, Minhaj University, Lahore, Dr. Saeed Ahmed, Chairperson Department of Urdu, GC University, Faisalabad, and Dr. Naeem Mazhar, Associate Professor, National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Haq Noori explained the types of research, stages of research and their explanation. He discussed the new trends in research. Dr. Saeed Ahmed expressed his thoughts on new horizons of research, choice of topic for research and interdisciplinary research. Dr. Naeem Mazhar commented on the outline contents and rules, research objectives, hypothesis research, drafting of the dissertation and background study.
