In an effort to materialize the vision of Worthy Vice Chancellor, regarding capacity Building of faculty and staff, an online training session was arranged by Quality Enhancement Cell, GCWUF On 26-08-2020 at 10:00am. The training was focused to explore strategies to strengthen the connection with the Alumni of GCWUF and to establish Alumni Association. The Session was started with the name of Allah, the most beneficial the most merciful. Dr. Muhammad Idrees Head of Alumni Association, Quaid-i-Azam University delivered a detailed and comprehensive lecture on how to Establish Alumni Association through sharing multiple slides with the keen participants. He also shared his good practices at Quaid-i-Azam University and advised a range of measures to be taken regarding constitution of a dynamic database and TORS of Alumni Association. He underscored that Alumni serve as an asset to any institution and a long term relationship with them is greatly beneficial in terms of maximum utilization of their skill and expertise. He stressed to establish a separate office or an accessibility Center in University and a bank account for Alumni Association. He further added that a mechanism should be devised for accepting donations and utilization of funds. The account should be auditable and for quick response link may be provided on website of the university to invite for the membership. The session was concluded with a vote of thanks to Dr. Muhammad Idrees for delivering such an informative and useful presentation.
