The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has established to prepare online contents of lecturers in order to minimize the loss of students after closing of educational institutions due to COVID-19.
The journey begins under the Convener-ship of Director Advanced Studies and continues successful planning of making course structure, mode of communication, preparation and pitching of content. The faculties have also been advised to attend campus only when required for preparation and delivery of online courses/content with a view to minimize any academic loss of the students. Faculty delivered lectures by using the Learning Management System and Campus Management System. Different applications like Google classroom, Microsoft Teams and other related software have been utilized in this regard.

The Directorate of Academics has been established to streamline and enhance the functioning of academic programs across all disciplines, including those currently offered and those planned for the near future. Its primary objective is to ensure the continuous improvement of academic quality and operational efficiency within the University.
The Directorate is responsible for formulating and recommending new rules, policies, and procedures to further elevate academic standards. These initiatives are undertaken in alignment with the directives and guidelines of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC).
The University offers a diverse array of academic programmes, including Bachelor?s degrees, Associate Degrees in Education (ADE), B.Ed., MS, and PhD programmes. These are offered across multiple faculties:
Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli, Pro Vice Chancellor and Director Academics, the Directorate plays a vital role in upholding academic integrity and advancing the University?s mission. In addition to policy development and quality assurance, the Directorate oversees and facilitates all aspects of graduate and postgraduate academic affairs, including Admissions and Enrolment, Course Work and Academic Progression, Synopsis and Thesis Submission, Formation and Approval of Supervisory Committees, Organization and Approval of Thesis Defences, Coordination of Research Conferences, Seminars, Workshops, Symposia, Webinars, and Study Tours.
This proactive, student-centered approach reflects the University?s commitment to fostering academic excellence and contributing meaningfully to the socio-economic development of the region.
A special focus is given to integrating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into academic and research frameworks. By aligning educational efforts with the SDGs, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 5 (Gender Equality), institutions can effectively respond to the evolving challenges of the 21st century and drive impactful, inclusive change.
"Promotion of Female Higher Education through Transparent and Quality Research" is a compelling theme that aligns closely with global priorities such as gender equality, quality education, and sustainable development. This initiative not only supports women's empowerment through academic advancement but also emphasizes the importance of integrity and excellence in research.
To truly empower and support women in pursuing higher education, a comprehensive and context-sensitive approach is essential. This begins with the development of academic, psychological, and socio-economic support systems that address the unique challenges faced by female students. Educational programs must be designed to be flexible, inclusive, and responsive to local needs, ensuring that women can access, enrol in, and successfully complete their studies without unnecessary barriers. Additionally, it is vital to foster a culture of academic excellence where faculty are actively engaged in high-quality research that not only upholds scholarly rigor but also includes, supports, and benefits female students???both as collaborators and as beneficiaries of research outcomes.
