GCWUF Explores Collaboration with UN Women for Digital Empowerment of Women�Faisalabad, June 17, 2025:�Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) hosted a delegation from UN Women Pakistan, led by Ms. Sidra Humayun, Programme Coordinator–Punjab, to explore collaboration under the Digitalization for Women Empowerment (D4WEE) project.�Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.) welcomed the proposal, affirming GCWUF’s commitment to advancing digital literacy and economic opportunities for women. Both sides discussed joint efforts to enhance women’s participation in the digital economy through skills training, innovation, and strategic partnerships.�The delegation visited the university’s Women Development and Mentoring Centre and Skills Development Center, where existing initiatives in freelancing and digital training were highlighted. The meeting concluded with a mutual resolve to initiate actionable collaboration for inclusive digital empowerment.
