GCWUF Holds Seminar on Harassment Prevention and Awareness�Faisalabad, September 24, 2025 — Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF), through its Directorate of Students’ Affairs in collaboration with the Departments of Education, Computer Science, and Information Technology, organized a seminar on “Prevention and Awareness of Harassment” for students, faculty, and staff.�Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.) presided over the event, reaffirming the university’s strong commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful campus environment. She stressed that awareness, vigilance, and institutional responsibility are central to ensuring dignity and protection for every member of the academic community.�Keynote speakers included Sahabzada Umer Bilal, CPO Faisalabad, and Ms. Bushra Jameel, SSP Operations Faisalabad, who highlighted legal frameworks, institutional mechanisms, and practical strategies to prevent harassment. The session also featured an engaging Q&A, where students and faculty actively raised concerns and sought guidance.�The program concluded with the presentation of souvenirs to the distinguished guests. The seminar is part of GCWUF’s ongoing efforts to empower its community, strengthen institutional responses, and promote a culture of dignity and respect.
