Dr. Sadaf Naqvi Participates in International Conference at Tashkent State UniversitySeptember 18–19, 2025 — Dr. Sadaf Naqvi, Assistant Professor of Urdu, Head of the Department of Media & Communication Studies, and In-charge of the Women Development & Mentoring Centre at Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF), participated in a two-day international conference on “Reflection of Culture and Civilization in Literature” organized by Tashkent State University of Oriental Languages.Delegates from Pakistan, India, Iran, and Uzbekistan presented over 40 papers in Urdu, Hindi, English, and Uzbek. Dr. Naqvi presented her paper “Punjabi Culture in the Mirror of Urdu Poetry.” Rector Prof. Gulchehra distributed certificates to the participants and emphasized the importance of strengthening academic and literary collaborations.Dr. Naqvi also donated her authored books to the Tashkent State University library. The conference concluded with scholarly exchanges and cultural visits to historic cities including Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara.
