Scholars from around the world presented research on various facets of Faisalabad???s rich history and heritage.
Dr. Unsa Jamshed contributed with her research paper, titled The Gatghara Tomb: Historical Connection between Punjab and Balochistan Province, focusing on the historical role of Mir Chakar Azam Rind. She highlighted how Mir Chakar Azam Rind supported Emperor Humayun in reclaiming control of India despite being betrayed by close allies, emphasizing the importance of celebrating local heroes to foster inter-provincial harmony.
