Directorate of Student Affairs GCWUF organized a launching ceremony of the Young Islamic Banking Professionals Program for Students of BS Islamic Banking, Commerce, BBA, and Economics on 21 December 2022. The program was an excellent opportunity for the students for a head start on their professional careers in Islamic Banking. Registrar, GCWUF welcomed the guests. Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq (TI) shared the journey of success of the university in earning various rankings. The guest speakers from SBP, Mr. Mubammad Akbar Sr. DCM, SBP, BSC Fsd, and Mr. Waqas Kashif Bajwa Chief Manager, SBP BSC FSD explained the program details to the audience. Ms. Zainab Wasti, HR Specialist, being a role model and success story, encouraged the students to participate in Y-IBP. Shari???ah scholar Dr. Muhammad Akmal threw light on the fundamentals of Islamic Banking. The lecture session led to an assessment session of the students for the internships by SBP. Ms. Asma Aziz, Director Students Affair shared her concluding remarks.
