The Department of Humanities organized a webinar in connection with Kashmir Solidarity Day on "Kashmir Dispute: Indian Annexation Legal Status and Way Forward" in Video Conference Room at 10:30am on February 7, 2023. Prof. Dr. M. Khan (T.I), Chairman Department of Politics and I.R, Islamic International University, Islamabad was the guest speaker. The webinar started with welcome note by Coordinator Humanities and Languages Dr. Rukhsana Baloch. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khan (T.I) highlighted the Indian strategies to change the demographic status of Kashmir to convert Kashmiris into a minority in their own homeland. He elaborated the causes of the restricted or nominal role of OIC and SAARC over the Kashmir Issue. He stressed the role of youth especially women to highlight the Kashmir Issue through the power of pen. At the end of the session Prof. Khan appreciated the efforts of Vice Chancellor Government College Women University Faisalabad, for taking initiative to inculcate the awareness among students regarding the current situation in Kashmir, its implications and different dimensions. Students of various departments ask the volley of questions from the guest speaker. Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq GCWUF also joined the webinar and appreciated the students for asking valuable questions from the guest speaker. Director Academics, Prof. Dr. Zilla Huma Nazli, also addressed the participants in the Kashmir Issue. At the end of session, Dr. Unsa Jamshed Incharge Department of Humanities gave the closing remarks.
