Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) Self Visit Government, College Women University Faisalabad Directorate of Quality Enhancement Cell organized a successful IPE Self Visit of Government College Women University Faisalabad on 01 March 2023. Director QEC, Government College University Faisalabad Dr Khalid Mehmood Zia joined as external member of IPE, whereas Dr. Aasma Khalid, Director, QEC, Prof. Dr. Zill-i- Huma Nazli, Director Academics and Mr. Tariq Shahzad Director IT Services joined as internal member of IPE Self Visit. The first session of day-1 started with introduction of the university by Registrar GCWUF Mr. Asif A. Malik. He highlighted key features of university governance and major initiatives of the university for research and development. He highlighted the quality measures and practices accomplished by the university under the vigilant leadership of Professor Dr. Robina Farooq (T.I), Vice Chancellor GCWUF. The external member reviewed Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) on the basis of eleven IPE Standards: Mission and Goals, Planning and Evaluation, Organization and Governance, Integrity, Faculty, Student, Institutional Resources, Academic Programs and Curricula, Public Disclosure & Transparency, Assessment and Quality Assurance and Students Support Services. This session aimed to review the understanding and implementation of basic principles of Institutional Performance and IPE related standards. The second session was based on discussion with students of all departments. The external member inquired about facilities in labs, reservations related to courses, teaching and research facilities. The students gave feedback on multiple contents related to their academic life. The third session was based on discussion with the faculty members of all teaching departments. The panel discussed various aspects of course files and question papers. The Director QEC Dr. Aasma Khalid thanked Dr. Khalid Mehmood Zia for his insightful review throughout the day. Tomorrow, the panel is going to visit the campus and review the infrastructure.
