Training Session on ???Importance of Sustainable Development Goals??? Quality Enhancement Cell of GCWUF organized a lecture session on ???Importance of Sustainable Development Goals??? on March 10th, 2023 i-e Friday at Video Conference room of GCWUF. All the students who were nominated by the GCWUF for the SDGs Youngs Initiatives under the umbrella of Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives (MoPD&SI) were the participants of the sessions. The session started with recitation form the Holy Quran and Naat-e-Rasool Maqbool (SAW). The Guest Speaker for this lecture session was Dr. Aasma Khalid, Director QEC, GCWUF. She briefed about the various aspects of the UN 2030 Agenda of Sustainability. She further elaborated that the Quality Infrastructure contributes to all 3 of the SDGs themes: People, Prosperity and Planet. These themes strongly emphasized on the interdependence of the various goals, targets and approaches. Dr. Aasma Khalid, thoroughly briefed the students about the importance of the SDGs in life and community. Further, the Speaker also engaged the students by giving them assignments that there work will be shared with the (MoPD&SI) . The lecture led to the Q/A session. #gcwuf #gcwufofficial #qec
