Prime Minister's Youth Programme: Closing Ceremony of Women's Volleyball Trials under Talent Hunt Youth Sports League The closing ceremony of two-day volleyball trials of Faisalabad region under Prime Minister's Youth Program have been organized on 14 March 2023 in collaboration with Higher Education Commission and Government College Women University Faisalabad. Former member Punjab Assembly Rana Shoaib Idrees was the chief guest of the closing ceremony of these trials while Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq (T.I) and Registrar Asif A. Malik were the guests of honor. The closing ceremony of the trials was arranged in the cricket ground of GCWUF. Players aged 15-25 participated in the trials. The chief guest, while addressing the audience, explained the vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan. He stated that we can Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is creating equal opportunities of growth for both male and female youth. He introduced laptop scheme for Pakistani youth and now he is introducing the scheme again. He emphasized to improve the health standards of our female youth especially by promoting sports and the culture of maintaining physical fitness. Vice-Chancellor Government College Women University Faisalabad advised the athletes coming for the trials that women irrespective of any field of life, should make time for daily exercise. She appreciated the efforts of Ms Fahmida Ayub, Director Sports, GCWUF. Registrar Government College Women University Faisalabad Asif A. Malik commended the efforts of Director Sports Miss Fehmida Ayub and HEC in organizing these trials. He thanked the officials of HEC for their persistent support in this regard. Among the former players of the Pakistan volleyball team, Shobia Ghafoor and Shabana Sheikh participated in these trials
