Government College Women hosted an awareness session & hands on training workshop on ???Osteoporosis??? on 16th May, 2023. Event was organized by the Department of Zoology GCWUF. The purpose of the event was to disseminate information on signs and symptoms of osteoporosis in early and old-age working women and ways to minimise the risk and hazards of osteoporosis through exercise and diet. Dr. Rafia Imtiaz, from College of Physical Therapy GCUF was the key speaker who delivered a very informative talk. The most exciting element of the session was a hands on training conducted by Dr. Amna Khalid from College of Physical Therapy GCUF. The students and faculty learnt exercises to manage the osteoporosis and to reduce the risk. The session was attended by Coordinator Faculty of Management Sciences Dr Nousheen Syed, heads and faculty members of many teaching departments, and more than two hundred students. #gcwuf #gcwufofficial #womenuniversity
