Vice Chancellor GCWUF Prof Dr Robina Farooq (T.I) graced the occasion of Englishworks! Career Expo on 4th June 2023 as guest of honour. Englishworks is a fully funded U.S.State Department Program aiming to strengthen the Underprivileged Youth by not only imparting English Language Skills but the Employability Skills as well. Englishworks! Career Expo was based on the same need to connect the youth with the Industrial Zone to get better Vision & Preparation for their future endeavours. English Works! Career Expo Faisalabad was held at Sitara Marquee Civic Centre. Deputy Chief of Mission Mr. ANDREW SCHOFER, Consul General Lahore Mr. William K. Makaneole, Vice Chancellor University of Education, Lahore Professor Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha (S.I., H.I.) Principal Professor Dr. Shahid Iqbal, English Programs Manger-Punjab Dr. Muhammad Iqbal and other Dignitaries also graced the event. Twenty five different companies showcased their stalls. Panel discussion of Industrialists were also held who shared information on the type of skills they look for in their employee and how can a person avail the opportunities in a job market. Worthy Vice Chancellor GCWUF also gave a speech on skill development and entrepreneurial skills and appreciated Englishworks for organizing the wonderful expo.
