GCWUF has met hands with Alief TV today dated 6th July 2023 to extend services to each other in organising events, projecting all academic achievements and providing meaningful activities to the students of the university for the growth of their mental horizon. The ceremony was organised by Media Cell, GCWUF under kind patronage of Worthy Vice Chancellor GCWUF Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq (T.I). Alief TV (A project of Sitara Chemical Industries Ltd) is Pakistan's first edutainment channel that has been designed to bridge the gap between dying values and evolving traditions of 21st Century. The ceremony started with opening remarks of the Registrar GCWUF Mr Asif A Malik, leading to addresses by COO Alief TV Mr Irfan Asgher and Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq.The session brought forth very productive discussions on various possibilities of working collaboratively by both organizations. On behalf of the university, registrar GCWUF Mr. Asif A Malik signed the contract document. Mr Irfan Asghar COO of Alief TV. Signed the document on behalf of Alief TV. Add'l Director Press Media Publication GCWUF Amara Javed and Mr Mohammad Junaid from Alief TV signed the document as witnesses. Vice Chancellor GCWUF Prof Dr. Robina Farooq graced the ceremony as Chief Guest and Pro Vice Chancellor GCWUF Prof Dr Zill-i-Huma Nazli attended the event as a guest of honor. All admin heads, coordinators, and academic heads were present on this occasion. The ceremony ended with the presentation of souvenirs.
