Department of Art and Design GCWUF organised its 5th degree show and First show of Visual Communication Design today on 20 July 2023. Vice Chancellor GCWUF Prof Dr Zill-i-Huma Nazli inaugurated the exhibition. Along with the Vice Chancellor, Coordinator Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Professor Dr. Ayesha Sameen, Coordinator Faculty of Management Sciences Dr. Nausheen Syed, Chairperson of Mathematics Department Professor Dr. Saima Akram, Head of Education Department Dr. Syeda Samina Tahira and other guests appreciated the efforts of the students.12 students of Fine Arts and 10 students of Visual Communication Design exhibited their work. Ms Tuba Najam, Head of the Department of Art and Design welcomed the honourable chief guest and all other guests to the exhibition. Each of the thesis on display demonstrated a unique and well-developed concept, showcasing the students' keen understanding of design principles and their ability to push creative boundaries. The depth of research and thoughtful exploration of various media and techniques were evident throughout the presentations. The designers' passion for their subjects shone through in every piece, and it was inspiring to witness the fusion of artistry and functionality in their final outcomes. From captivating branding projects to emotionally evocative visual narratives, students' work displayed a commendable level of craftsmanship and innovation. The thesis work will remain on display even on Friday for the general public.
