Government College Women University Faisalabad Holds Its 5th Convocation Faisalabad (GCWUF) ??? The prestigious 5th convocation of Government College Women University was held with great enthusiasm. The chief guest of the event was Federal Minister for Water and Petroleum, Dr. Musadik Malik. Dr. Musadik Malik congratulated the successful graduates and commended their hard work and dedication. In his address, he emphasized that educated women play a crucial role in the progress of any nation. He highlighted that institutions like Government College Women University Faisalabad are providing excellent opportunities for higher education to the daughters of the nation. He further stated that the role of women in Pakistan's development is vital and that the government is taking serious steps to promote education and skills. On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor of Government College Women University Faisalabad, Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, addressed the audience. She stated that the university's mission is to equip students with modern education and enable them to play a significant role in the country's progress. She shed light on the university???s academic achievements and development projects, emphasizing its distinguished position due to quality education and research activities. During the ceremony, degrees were awarded to 2,785 students, including 9 Ph.D. graduates, 52 M.Phil graduates, 70 ADP/B.Ed graduates, and 2,654 BS graduates. The Vice Chancellor also presented the university???s annual report. Furthermore, 33 students were honored with gold medals, 29 with silver medals, and another 29 with bronze medals for their outstanding academic performance.
