Empowering Women Through Conflict Resolution: Training at GCWUF under WEMP Under the visionary leadership of Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.), Vice Chancellor of GCWUF, the Women Empowerment and Mentoring Program continues to foster professional growth for female faculty and students. On February 4, 2025, a comprehensive session on ???Conflict Resolution and Management??? was conducted to equip participants with essential skills for handling conflicts effectively in academic and professional settings. The session featured esteemed mentors: Prof. Dr. Saima Akram highlighted conflict resolution frameworks and how conflicts can drive growth, innovation, and positive change. She emphasized dialogue, collaboration, and mutual understanding. Dr. Sadia Asim discussed the role of emotional intelligence and stress management in de-escalating conflicts, and guiding participants on resilience and composure in challenging situations. Dr. Sumera Anwer focused on leadership development and proactive conflict management, encouraging academic women to foster a constructive and collaborative work culture. Dr. Saira Khan explored the psychological aspects of conflict resolution, addressing cognitive biases, emotional triggers, and behavioral patterns while advocating mindfulness and self-awareness. Participants engaged in interactive exercises, case studies, and group discussions to apply real-world conflict resolution techniques. The session emphasized professionalism and a positive work environment amidst challenges. Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli, Pro Vice Chancellor, commended the mentors for their insightful contributions.
