Faisalabad, February 13, 2025 ??? Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) successfully conducted 11th Academic Council meeting under the chairpersonship of the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.). The Council approved six new degree programs, a short course on AI skills, a compulsory course on personality and soft skills development and Punjabi Zaban tei Adab. The council also approved the renaming of the existing faculties and approved a new Faculty of Computing and Numerical Sciences. Distinguished attendees included nominee of the Higher Education Department and Higher Education Commission, Islamabad, senior external and internal academicians, and heads of the various departments of the university. The Registrar, Dr. Sadia Asim, conducted the meeting. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the contributions of all members and commended the Registrar and her team for the smooth execution of the meeting.
