Dr. Rukhsana Baloch, Coordinator of Humanities & Languages and Assistant Professor of Urdu at GCWUF, participated in the 14th EMS International Research Conference on Building Prosperity in a Climate-Conscious World, held in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, on January 23-24, 2025. Organized by Experts in Management & Social Sciences (EMS) Pakistan in collaboration with Sarhad University of Science and IT, the conference welcomed over 80 scholars and professionals from around the world, including Vice Chancellors, Deans, and researchers from leading Pakistani institutions such as NUST Islamabad, Punjab University Lahore, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, NUML, GCUF, and University of Mianwali, along with international participants from Turkey and Saudi Arabia. Dr. Rukhsana Baloch chaired a session on the first day and delivered an insightful talk on "Urdu Poetry: Environmental and Cultural Context," which was highly appreciated by fellow scholars. She described the conference as a valuable learning platform that will contribute to her academic growth. Following the conference, she had the privilege of performing Umrah, which enriched her journey intellectually and spiritually.
