GCWUF???s Food Science Department Celebrates First PhD Graduate The Department of Food Science and Technology at GCWUF proudly announces the successful PhD Public Defence of Dr. Adan Naeem, the department???s first PhD graduate. Her research, "Extraction, Modification, and Structural Elucidation of Tamarindus indica Seed-Based Polysaccharide Gum for Egg and Fat Substituted Bakery Products," was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Rizwana Batool, with Dr. Saima Tehseen and Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli as committee members. Esteemed external examiners Prof. Dr. Tahir Zahoor (NUR International University, Lahore) and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tauseef Sultan (BZU, Multan) provided valuable insights. Madam Rizwana Tanveer, Controller Examination, played a key role in the evaluation process. Prof. Dr. Aysha Sameen, Chairperson of the department, joined online to congratulate the audience. The defence was attended by Dr. Hira Munir (Director ORIC), Dr. Salma Shahid (Department of Biochemistry), and faculty members. All participants and examiners extended their congratulations to Dr. Adan Naeem on this outstanding achievement.
