14th Faculty Board of Science and Technology Meeting Focuses on Academic Excellence and Policy Updates The 14th Meeting of the Faculty Board of Science and Technology at GCWUF was held on January 10, 2025, in the Committee Room, chaired by Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli, Pro Vice Chancellor/ Coordinator of the Faculty of Science and Technology. External experts included Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahid (Director Academics, Riphah University), Prof. Dr. Affaf Ibrahim (Government College for Women, Karkhana Bazar), and Dr. Yasir Jamil (Department of Physics, UAF). Internal members comprised heads of 13 academic departments, Director QEC Dr. Asma Khalid, and Director ORIC Dr. Hira Munir. Dr. Salma Shahid, Secretary BOF, presented the agenda. The meeting addressed curriculum reviews, examination policies, and faculty development programs, aligning graduate and undergraduate schemes with HEC guidelines. Key decisions aimed at enhancing academic standards were finalized. Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli appreciated the valuable input of external experts and emphasized collective efforts for academic excellence.
