The Department of Physics organized a two-day ???Streamlining Research: Tools for Reference Management and Data Analysis??? workshop on February 24-25, 2025. The workshop aimed to enhance participants' skills in academic writing, reference management, and data analysis using MS Word, Origin, and Mendeley. Dr. Ayesha Younus, Chairperson of the Department, welcomed the attendees and thanked Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.) for her patronage and Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli for persistent guidance. The sessions covered effective academic writing techniques, document formatting, citation management using Mendeley, and data analysis with Origin, featuring hands-on training and interactive discussions. Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli graced the closing ceremony, commending the organizers and emphasizing the importance of reference management and AI in scientific writing.
