Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) convened its 19th Syndicate meeting on November 28, 2024, at the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC), Arfa Software Technology Park, Lahore, chaired by the Provincial Minister for Higher Education, Mr. Rana Sikandar Hayat. The meeting opened with the presentation of the Annual Report 2023-24 by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen, showcasing the university's progress in academics, research, community engagement, and infrastructure development. Registrar Dr. Sadia Asim, acting as the Secretary of the Syndicate, presented a comprehensive agenda that covered significant administrative, financial, and academic matters. The Syndicate approved the GCWUF Annual Budget for 2024-25, presented by Treasurer Dr. Nausheen Syed, along with other key proposals to enhance university operations. The Provincial Minister, in his concluding remarks, praised GCWUF???s leadership and administration for maintaining exceptional financial health, achieving recognition in international rankings, and fostering sustainable growth.
