We are delighted to announce that Ms. Saira Khan, Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Psychology, has successfully completed her PhD in Applied Psychology. She defended her thesis on December 2, 2024, at the Institute of Applied Psychology, University of the Punjab, Pakistan. Her research, titled ???Working Memory, Short-Term Memory, and Processing Speed in Bilingual Students: Predictors of Fluid Intelligence,??? was conducted under the esteemed supervision of Prof. Emeritus Dr. Najma Najam at the Institute of Applied Psychology, University of the Punjab. Dr. Saira Khan???s work represents an innovative, intervention-based first indigenous study aimed at enhancing fluid intelligence by improving working memory capacity through targeted training.
