Department of Botany, GC Women University, Faisalabad organized two days training workshop on techniques in Floriculture on 7th-8th May, 2018 in Jinnah Auditorium. This workshop was focused on various techniques used in floriculture and landscaping, providing efficient means of propagation of disease free plant which is otherwise difficult to accomplish in a single growing season. Distinguished speakers Dr. Adnan Younis, Assistant Professor, Dr. Mohsin Bashir, Lecturer, Institute of Horticultural Sciences, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad and Mr. Tariq Tanveer, CEO, Agri-Tourism Development of Pakistan. They delivered lectures on different techniques used in floriculture and landscaping. The session was ended by presenting terrariums to Chief Guest and distinguished speakers. On the second day of workshop, participants were divided in groups who learned different skills under supervision of demonstrators who delivered hands on training floriculture procedures to participants.
