Plants are Earth life supportive network. They ensure oxygen supply, provide us with various resources, conserve biodiversity and mitigate the harsh environment. Tree plantation is one of the best activities for making Earth greener, livelier and healthier. Feeling the importance and need of plantation, Department of Botany, GC Women University Faisalabad arranged one day in campus plantation activity on Friday October 16, 2020. Honourable guests, Dr. Ijaz Ashraf and Dr. Naima Nawaz from University of Agriculture Faisalabad planted trees and appreciated the efforts of Department of Botany for this Nobel cause. Dr. Abida Kausar, Incharge Department of Botany, along with her team and Mrs. Ghazala Suhail Coordinator, Science and Technology also planted tress at various points within the vicinity of University. Faculty members and students also shown great enthusiasm in this activity.
