Ms. Momna Abdul Rehman along with Ms. Nabeela Kousar hosted the webinar. The webinar started at 11:00 am with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool. Afterward, the Head of Department, Professor Farzana Hashmi threw a light on some economic affairs of Pakistan. She also highlighted the contributions of great leader Muhammad Ali Jinnah in making and development of Pakistan. Afterwards she welcomed all participants and invited resource person, Dr Imran Qaiser, for the session. Dr. Imran Qaiser is assistant professor in department of Economics of GCUF. He has secured his PhD degree from Frie University Germany and has a good publication record. He is also adept at various analysing techniques. First, he elaborated the basic statistical concepts that are used in early analysis. Later, the regression techniques which are used for explaining the economic relationships were discussed by him. He also used some real life data sets to refine the concepts of students about statistics and economics. After the session, Head of Department, Prof. Farzana Hashmi paid a warm thanks to Dr. Imran Qaiser. She also thanked the IT department for their assistance to make our webinar successful. The webinar was ended by listening national anthem.
