Department of English GCWUF has started organizing a series of lectures and symposium for the intellectual growth of the students. In this connection, first lecture was organized on ???Modern Drama in the Context of Historical Trajectory of the Genre??? on 14th November 2019 at 9:30 am in Jinnah Auditorium, GCWUF. Prof. Dr. Mazhar Hayat, Chairperson Department of English Literature GCUF, was the Guest Speaker and Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq, Vice Chancellor GCWUF, was the Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. Mazhar Hayat is a renowned academician with prolific research output. He developed and discussed the historical trajectory of drama from Greek to modern era very coherently and logically.
