Department of English GCWUF organized two day symposium on Promoting Research Trends: A Paradigmatic Approach towards Postcolonial Studies. The chief guest of the event was Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq vice chancellor GCWUF and the focal person was Ms. Fauzia Amin, lecturer in English GCWUF. Dr. Ali Usman, assistant professor of English, GCUF was invited as guest speaker to share his experienced scholarship with the students. The event followed a series of informative and intellectual presentations by students of 7th A English Department. Different aspects of Postcolonial studies including brief history of colonization, orientalism and subalternism were presented by students that emulated conviction as well as intellect.
