Two-day training workshop on Fostering Scientific Research and Innovation in Pakistan is organized by Department of Physics on August 1-2, 2019. The objective of this workshop is to promote the research culture in Pakistan and to train the faculty members and students about research publications and patents, as these two are important indicators for science, technology and innovation system. Mrs Asma Khurshid, Incharge department of Physics, is convener of this workshop. Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq (ViceChancellor, GCWUF) and Dr. M. Shakil Ahmad (Assistant Professor, COMSATS University Islamabad, Attock Campus) was the resource persons. Initially, Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq (Vice Chancellor, GCWUF) gave an impetus talk on Patents. Dr. M. Shakil Ahmad gave training on how to write an effective research paper in a short time.
