A Seminar on awareness about Ehsaas Program was organized by Department of Sociology. Ehsaas is the biggest and boldest programme ever launched in Pakistan to uplift marginalized people. Dr. Sajida Parveen, Lecturer Department of Sociology, was the speaker. Students were told about the details of different programs being run and launched by Government of Pakistan under umbrella of Ehsaas program. Students were told about how they can get registered and take benefit from these programs. They were also briefed about DigiSkills Training Program which is Pakistan???s first Online Training Program to empower the youth with skills that are in-demand in freelance market. It consists of multiple online skill-based training courses. The very unique feature of this program is that the course content has been designed specifically for a Pakistani audience in a mix of Urdu-English language. Dr. Samina, Coordinator of Arts and Social Sciences, also addressed the students and encouraged them to get registered for different Ehsaas Programs. She also talked about the significance of these programs in our community.
