Physics Department Celebrates Quantum Year 2025 with “Physics Panorama”��Faisalabad, 6 May 2025 – The Department of Physics at Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) organized Physics Panorama 2025 to celebrate the Quantum Year and raise awareness of SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy).�Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.) inaugurated the event, accompanied by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli, Prof. Dr. Saima Akram, and Heads of Departments. The event featured a Nobel Prize Gallery, a Quantum Zone, poster exhibitions, and displays of final-year Computational Physics projects.�A symbolic walk marking 100 years of quantum physics was led by the Pro Vice Chancellor, with faculty, staff, and students in attendance. A cake-cutting ceremony added to the celebrations.�External evaluators from UAF, GCUF, and the Government Islamia College reviewed students’ projects. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the students’ creativity and congratulated Dr. Ayesha Younus and her team for organizing a successful event that promoted scientific curiosity and interdisciplinary learning.
