Dr. Unsa Jamshed Advocates Religious Freedom and Inclusive GovernanceÚFaisalabad, July 19, 2025 — Dr. Unsa Jamshed, Assistant Professor and Incharge, Department of History and Pakistan Studies at Government College Women University Faisalabad, participated in the orientation session of the campaign '||chr(34)||'Promoting Religious Freedom – Encouraging Inclusive Governance.'||chr(34)||' The event was organized by AWAM Pakistan in collaboration with Minority Rights Group (MRG) Europe and funded by the European Union.ÚSpeaking at the session, Dr. Jamshed emphasized that the Constitution of Pakistan guarantees equal citizenship and religious freedom, stating, “Any effort to curtail these freedoms is intolerable, as it weakens social cohesion and threatens national unity.”ÚThe session was attended by over 90 participants from diverse backgrounds and faiths, including dignitaries from academia, civil society, and local government.
