Awareness Session on Skill Development & Youth Pitch Competition at GCWUFÚFaisalabad (September 18, 2025) — The Women Development and Mentoring Centre, Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF), in collaboration with the Women Development Department (WDD), Government of the Punjab, organized an awareness session on “Skill Development through Ambassador Program and Entrepreneurial Female Youth Pitch Competition.”ÚThe program opened with the Recitation from the Holy Quran, Naat, and the National Anthem, followed by keynote addresses from WDD representatives Mr. Faheem Akhtar (Manager – Projects/Initiatives, SPIU) and Mr. Mazhar Ali (Gender Monitoring Specialist). Both speakers underscored the initiatives’ objectives, benefits, and application process, stressing their importance for women’s empowerment, leadership, and entrepreneurial growth.ÚOn behalf of Dr. Sadaf Naqvi, In-charge Women Development and Mentoring Centre, the session was moderated by Dr. Saira, Assistant Professor, Department of English, who also presented souvenirs to the distinguished guests.ÚThe event concluded with an interactive discussion, reaffirming GCWUF’s commitment to nurturing innovation, entrepreneurship, and skill development among its female students.
