GCWUF Holds Seminar on Harassment Prevention and AwarenessÚFaisalabad, September 24, 2025 — Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF), through its Directorate of Students’ Affairs in collaboration with the Departments of Education, Computer Science, and Information Technology, organized a seminar on “Prevention and Awareness of Harassment” for students, faculty, and staff.ÚVice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.) presided over the event, reaffirming the university’s strong commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful campus environment. She stressed that awareness, vigilance, and institutional responsibility are central to ensuring dignity and protection for every member of the academic community.ÚKeynote speakers included Sahabzada Umer Bilal, CPO Faisalabad, and Ms. Bushra Jameel, SSP Operations Faisalabad, who highlighted legal frameworks, institutional mechanisms, and practical strategies to prevent harassment. The session also featured an engaging Q&A, where students and faculty actively raised concerns and sought guidance.ÚThe program concluded with the presentation of souvenirs to the distinguished guests.
