GCWUF Clean & Green Society Debuts with Inspiring Penjing Bonsai SeminarÚFaisalabad – A new wave of environmental consciousness began at Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) as the Clean and Green Society held its very first activity under the Developing Young Leaders Program. Guided by the vision of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.), the society, in collaboration with the Department of Botany and Estate Office, organized a unique seminar and workshop titled “Penjing Bonsai Art: Cultivating Mindfulness” on October 2, 2025.ÚRenowned scientist Dr. Shahzad Maqsood Ahmad Basra and Penjing Artist Mian Mahmood Akhter captivated the audience with reflections on resilience, creativity, and harmony with nature, blending science, art, and mindfulness.
