GC Women University Faisalabad Goes Global: Faculty Exchange Strengthens Pakistan–Sri Lanka Academic TiesFebruary 16, 2026 - Dr. Saiqa Sadiq, Head of the Department of Public Administration, GCWUF, selected by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan under the Pakistan–Sri Lanka Faculty Exchange Programme, visited Sri Lanka from 5–15 February 2026.She participated in the OPA Forum and held high-level academic meetings with leading research and university officials. During the visit, she presented her research project, “Utilization of Solar Energy in the Rural Food Sector: A Sustainable and Policy-Driven Approach,” and explored avenues for collaborative research and academic exchange.The exchange concluded with the presentation of GCWUF souvenirs as a gesture of institutional goodwill, reinforcing the university’s commitment to international collaboration and global academic engagement.
