GCWUF BASR Reviews Key Research and Academic Matters�Faisalabad, March 13, 2026: Vice Chancellor GCWUF Prof Dr Kanwal Ameen chaired the 15th meeting of the Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR) on March 13, 2026, to review important academic and research matters.�During the meeting, the Board approved the minutes of the Boards of Faculties (BOF) of various faculties and reviewed the PhD supervision and dissertation evaluation process in accordance with the Higher Education Commission’s Graduate Education Policy 2023.�The Board also examined synopsis titles of several MPhil and PhD programs, while a number of PhD scholars presented their research synopses before the Board for evaluation. In addition, cases related to the extension of study leave for faculty members were deliberated.
