GC Women University Faisalabad Holds 6th Convocation, Confers 2,722 DegreesFAISALABAD, April 09, 2026: Government College Women University Faisalabad held its 6th Convocation with great enthusiasm and academic fervor. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.) presided over the ceremony as nominee of the Chancellor/Governor Punjab. MPA Qudsia Batool, Vice Chancellor GCUF, Rector TUF, Presidents of FCCI and FWCCI, distinguished academia and industry representatives, alumni, and a large number of proud parents attended the ceremony, making it a memorable and prestigious occasion.The Vice Chancellor, in her address, congratulated the graduates and their proud parents on receiving the degrees. She urged the graduating students to remain resilient, ethical, and compassionate while emphasizing responsible social media use and safe digital citizenship.The Vice Chancellor presented a report on the university'||chr(39)||'s key accomplishments. Highlighting the University’s vision, she said GCWUF is committed to becoming a future-ready institution aligned with the SDGs, focusing on academic excellence, innovation, industry linkages, digitalization, and holistic student development. She also presented the University’s annual report, outlining key achievements. She appreciated the efforts of the controller of Examinations and her team in organizing a successful event.The university conferred 2,722 degrees in total, including 12 PhDs, 148 MPhil degrees, 123 ADP/B. Ed degrees, and 2,439 BS degrees. Recognizing academic excellence, the University awarded 98 medals, including 32 gold, 37 silver, and 29 bronze medals, to outstanding students.
