Munib Hamid highlighted Pakistan’s role as a neutral, trusted mediator, particularly at the April 2026 Islamabad Talks, where the country facilitated dialogue between the United States and Iran, contributing to de-escalation and a temporary ceasefire. They also noted Pakistan’s balanced foreign policy and its efforts in easing regional tensions.Addressing the session, speakers stated that Pakistan has emerged as a responsible global actor, actively promoting regional stability through dialogue and diplomacy.
