GC Women University Faisalabad Recognized for Excellence in Female Ambassador Program Phase 2�FAISALABAD, May 19, 2026 — Government College Women University Faisalabad was recognized for its outstanding performance in the Female Ambassador Program Phase 2 at Mega Showcase 2026, held at Alhamra Arts Council, Lahore. In recognition of GCWUF’s contribution, a souvenir was presented to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.). Program focal person Dr. Sadaf Naqvi received a shield for her dedicated coordination, while GCWUF Female Ambassador Ms. Maleeka Siddiqa was awarded a certificate and program kits for successfully completing her ambassadorial responsibilities.�During Phase 2 of the program, the Women Development and Mentoring Center of the university successfully conducted twelve impactful activities on women empowerment, leadership, skill development, mentorship, and social awareness. These initiatives were highly appreciated by the Women Development Department, Punjab, for their outreach and effectiveness.�The closing ceremony was organized by the Women Development Department Punjab under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the guidance of Ms. Sadia Taimoor, bringing together universities from across Punjab to celebrate women’s leadership and empowerment.
