International Seminar on Ethical Values Held at the University of Faisalabad: Dr. Rukhsana Bibi Represents GCWUF as the Guest of Honour��Faisalabad, April 17, 2025 – The Department of Islamic Studies at the University of Faisalabad organized a one-day international seminar titled “Observation of Ethical Values Awareness” to promote awareness and discourse around Islamic ethical values in academic settings.�Dr. Rukhsana Bibi, Coordinator, Faculty of Humanities and Languages, Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF), attended the seminar as the Guest of Honour. Representing GCWUF, she delivered an insightful address emphasizing the'||chr(39)||' central role of Islamic values in shaping and promoting individual character and a righteous society.�“Islamic values such as truthfulness, justice, honesty, kindness, modesty, and equality are the foundation and identity of any Islamic society,” Dr. Rukhsana stated. “Universities, where the youth are nurtured intellectually, spiritually, and morally, have a pivotal role in promoting these values. It is a shared responsibility of both teachers and students.”�She further stressed that promoting ethical values cannot be achieved merely through textbooks or Friday sermons. “It requires sincere efforts, practical examples, a training-oriented environment, and mutual respect. When both teachers and students fulfill their responsibilities with integrity, a healthy academic culture emerges, and the foundation for an Islamic society is laid.”�The seminar also featured a keynote address by Prof. Amanullah Malik, Rector of the University of Faisalabad, along with contributions from several other distinguished speakers who shared their perspectives on the significance of ethics in contemporary society.�The event concluded with a renewed commitment among participants to uphold and promote Islamic ethical values within educational institutions and beyond.
