The Department of Applied Psychology, Government College Women University Faisalabad, successfully organized a Mental Health Camp at Rehab Home, Sehgal City, Faisalabad, as part of its commitment to promoting mental health awareness and community outreach. The camp was conducted under supervision of Dr. Saira Khan and camp have objective of enhancing psychological wellbeing, raising awareness about mental health issues, and providing basic psychological support to the residents and staff of the rehabilitation center. Faculty members and students of the Department actively participated in the event by conducting mental health awareness sessions, offering psychological consultations, and engaging participants in interactive activities designed to promote emotional resilience and overall wellbeing. During the camp, participants were educated about the importance of mental health, stress management, emotional regulation, self-care practices, and the role of psychological support in recovery and rehabilitation. Individual guidance and counseling were provided to address personal concerns, while psychoeducational materials were distributed to encourage healthy coping strategies and mental wellness.
