The Department of Applied Psychology, Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) celebrated World Mental Health Day on 10th October 2025 with great enthusiasm and commitment under the global theme of promoting mental health awareness and psychological wellbeing. The event aimed to highlight the importance of mental health, reduce stigma associated with mental illness, and encourage individuals to prioritize their emotional and psychological wellbeing. The event was graciously attended by Prof. Dr. Zilly Huma, Pro Vice Chancellor, Government College Women University Faisalabad, as the Chief Guest. The occasion was also honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Ayesha Sameen, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, along with heads of departments, faculty members, students, and distinguished guests from across the university.
