The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between the Department of Applied Psychology, Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF), and the Pakistan Institute of Living and Learning (PILL) was successfully held on 4 June 2026 at Government College Women University Faisalabad. The MoU was signed to establish a collaborative partnership aimed at strengthening academic, research, training, and community engagement activities in the field of mental health and psychological well-being. The agreement seeks to provide students and faculty with opportunities for professional development, volunteer engagement, research collaboration, and participation in community-based mental health initiatives. The MoU was signed on behalf of GCWUF by Prof. Dr. Aysha Sameen, Director External Linkages, while Prof. Dr. Nasim Chaudhry, Chief Executive Officer, represented the Pakistan Institute of Living and Learning (PILL). Incharge department of Applied Psychology, Dr. Saira Khan and representatives from both institutions attended the ceremony and expressed their commitment to fostering a meaningful and productive partnership. Under this collaboration, both institutions will work together in organizing training workshops, seminars, conferences, mental health awareness campaigns, youth engagement programs, and research activities. Students of Applied Psychology will benefit from experiential learning opportunities, community outreach initiatives, and exposure to evidence-based mental health practices through participation in PILL???s programs.
