One-Day Workshop on Foundations of Individual Psychotherapy The Department of Applied Psychology, Government College Women University Faisalabad, successfully organized a One-Day Workshop on Individual Psychotherapy for the students of the 6th and 8th semesters on 23 June 2026. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Muhammad Luqman Khan, an experienced psychologist and trainer from Riphah International University. The event was graciously attended by Prof. Dr. Ayesha Sameen, Coordinator, Faculty of Social Sciences, who graced the occasion and appreciated the department???s efforts in providing practical and skill-based learning opportunities for students. The workshop was organized under the supervision of Dr. Saira Khan, Head of the Department of Applied Psychology, and was attended by faculty members and students. The event provided an enriching learning experience focused on developing practical psychotherapy skills and professional competencies among future psychologists. Students actively participated throughout the workshop and demonstrated keen interest in learning evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches and their application in real-life clinical settings. The training provided participants with an excellent opportunity to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical therapeutic skills, thereby fostering professional growth, critical thinking, and confidence in clinical practice
