The Department of Computer Science , Government College Women University Faisalabad ( GCWUF ), successfully organized a Dermatology Awareness & Free Skin Check-up Camp in collaboration with Saffron Pharmaceuticals (Pvt.) Ltd . with a team of Dermatologist including Dr. Kulsoom Javed, Associate Professor & Consultant Dermatologist, Allied Hospital Faisalabad Prof. Dr. Saima Akram, Coordinator, Faculty of Computing and Numerical Sciences, welcomed the visiting team to the university. The event was organized by Dr. Shazia Riaz (In-Charge, Department of Computer Science) and coordinated by Ms. Ammarah Maqbool. Students, faculty members, and staff benefited from free medicine , free dermatological consultations, health awareness sessions, and expert guidance on common skin conditions. The initiative received an excellent response from the university community and contributed to promoting health awareness and preventive healthcare. The activity also supported SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). The Department of Computer Science extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Kulsoom Javed and the Saffron Pharmaceuticals team for their valuable support in making this initiative a success.
